Dr. Ankita Jasmine Lall is a distinguished Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Christ Church College, Kanpur, where she has been contributing to academic excellence since July 2023. With an impressive academic background and 14 years of teaching experience, she has established herself as a prominent researcher in the fields of Economics and Women Empowerment.
Her academic journey is marked by exceptional achievements, including a Gold Medal for M.A. (Economics) and a Silver Medal for MBEF, both for achieving the highest scores. She is a UGC-NET qualified scholar and has completed her Ph.D. focused on "Occupational Issues of Women Acquiring Higher Education with Special reference to Bundelkhand Region of Uttar Pradesh."
Dr. Lall's research expertise encompasses Gender Inequality Index calculation, women's labor force participation, and educational accessibility in backward regions. She has been an approved Ph.D. Research Guide since 2021 and currently supervises three doctoral scholars at Bundelkhand University.
Her commitment extends beyond the classroom through active involvement in organizing international summits, workshops, and conferences. As a member of WSSUDHA Foundation, she contributes to collaborative initiatives for human and societal development at international, national, and regional levels.
